Emily wanted a blouse that didn’t need thinking about. Something simple enough to wear with anything, but with just enough detail, the collar, the gathered cuff, to not feel plain either.
Cotton is a durable, natural, breathable fibre that holds up well to everyday wear. It’s low-maintenance, doesn’t need special handling, and gets softer the more it’s washed. Poplin is woven tightly and evenly, giving it a smooth surface and a slight sheen, with more structure than a looser cotton weave.
