A collarless jacket with a clean neckline, cut boxy through the body and cropped to sit just above the hip. Fully lined. Button fastening down the front, two discreet side pockets. This one is in Brisbane Cord, a durable and breathable cotton corduroy from Brisbane Moss, woven with raised parallel ridges, that’s easy to care for and softens with wear.
Inspired by Maria’s homemade clothes in The Sound of Music: simple, humble, made rather than bought. The idea was a jacket with nothing decorative about it, just clean lines and comfort, that still manages to look put together.
Cotton is a durable, natural, breathable fibre that holds up well to everyday wear. It’s low-maintenance, doesn’t need special handling, and gets softer the more it’s washed. This is corduroy from Brisbane Moss, a specialist English cloth mill known for its corduroy, giving it a more refined, luxurious finish than a standard corduroy weave.

Corduroy care info
Machine washable at 30°C. Wash inside out to protect the ridges. Tumble dry on low if needed, or hang to dry.
